Service was okay. But I spent 14 dollars on curry goat which is fine. But I got about 6 pieces of small goat meat. Which is outrageous compared to other places. Mostly bones. About half a cup of rice and cabbage. They definitely didn’t skimp on the cabbage. The flavor of the food was okay. There’s nothing that would make me go back. Most disappointing about this experience was the small portion and price. I think if they drop the prices or give a feasible portion, they should be fine. I’ll even delete my review

I drive from the west side of Atlanta to get this. Every since my bonus daughter turned me on to this spot, I’ve been hooked! The oxtails, rice and peas, cabbage and fried plantains are delicious!

Lived right down the street at Crestmark apartments ..used to come here all the time ...then stopped going after eating a few meals that left me with a runny stomach.. like the food may not have been fresh.. shame.. cause i loved it up until that point.. also happened to my brother .. now we go elsewhere.. sorry...

Ordered the small curry chicken meal and beef patty. The beef patty was good. Curry chicken came with a lot of rice. I was expecting more chicken for the price. Also the chicken could have used more sauce/ gravy. Overall decent Jamacian food.

Tried this place for the second time, trying to give them another chance.I'M SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!!This place is serving beef neckbones and passing it off to customers as oxtails. They should be ASHAMED of themselves and to think a large is $16.00 (with little meat on your plate). Someone that doesn't know the difference would never notice, but I'm a southern woman who knows the difference.SHAME ON YOU ALL!!

Hubby and I have been here many times. The food is consistently good. I always get the oxtails that’s absolutely delicious! Very nice service too!

The woman who answers the phone is pretty rude. I let it slide a time or two but no longer. I always get the oxtails. A few months ago I got a bad batch. I attempted to go back but of course questioned the oxtails this time. She didn't like thar. Just rude. The oxtails are average to above average for Jamaican cuisine. I will not eat here again.

Choices were relatively limited, but the food was okay. There jerk chicken was great, but the sides were a little bland and the options just weren't there. This could be partly due to their closing for a week and using what they had, but overall while it was a good place to try out, I think it's a little too overpriced for me.

I called to place a pickup order and the lady was very rude. I asked if they had any macaroni and cheese and she said no, so I asked my friend did he want cabbage and she said you can call back when you have your order together. That was very rude just because I asked my friend one simple question that didn’t take anything but a second to ask.

Brilliant food. Fast service. Big portions. Could not recommend enough. I had the Jerk Pork and it knocked my socks off.

I had the oxtails plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains and coco bread. The food was hot and fresh and plentiful. It was so good. The service was good and fast. I can't wait to go back!

This is my second time and nothing had changed. Bad attitudes and customer service. The food portions are bare and not worth the price. Too much gravy given without the consent. Taste is not good and too salty. Not worth dining at. Can not recommend and won't be back.

I love love love Contreju! Been eating here for years & haven't been disappointed yet, not once! Try the brown stew chicken, I guarantee you'll love it.

Vegetables was good but Oxtails was nothing but fat and no flavor, i had 1 out of 5 or 6 that had a little meat, maybe i went on a bad day. I couldnt enjoy what i went for, very disappointing.

Not friendly service and they don't give you a lot of rice and hardly any meat.

What a great spot on Thorton road. Food is great. I had the curry chicken lunch, veg, rice, and sweet plantains. Every bit of it was excellent. I'll be coming back again

I suggest changing the jerk chicken recipe. It was not jerked it was saucy. Nothing about it was jerk more like oven chicken coated.

VERY RUDE PEOPLE, they gave me old hard crunchy uncooked rice and got an attitude with me for quietly whispering to them that my rice was uncooked. Then they had the nerve to say, "nobody else have complained." I called back and asked to speak to someone and I was told that sometimes they DO add new rice with old rice which means some of the rice is NOT cooked thoroughly. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT THERE!!!! UNACEPTABLE, YOU SOULD NEVER MIX OLD FOOD WITH NEW FOOD!!! That's just NASTY!!!

I enjoy the food here very much but the service is pretty horrible. They’re very rude and abrupt here. The portions are a bit slim, especially when it comes to the cabbage side, so ask for more if you want a good portion, but don’t be surprised if the counter-lady gives you attitude about it. Credit card machine is often down, so ask beforehand if you plan on paying with credit.

Food absolutely melts in your mouth. The taste is oh so succulent. Fast and friendly service makes this a very pleasant experience.

Rice too mushy...stew peas too watery...not good at all...ackee and saltfish too greasy...flavor ok..more ackee than salfish...

Oxtails are horrible 😐 I should of drove the few extra miles and ordered form C&D JAMAICAN RESTAURANT.. they are much better times 10

My go to Jamaican restaurant. Always friendly and with quick service. My plates are filled to bursting!

To start there is a young lady who is the customer service re /greeter//cashier who lacks customer service skills, manners, respect, courtesy and training. She was so rude, anxious and irritated it turned me off completely. I went with a friend who ordered the curry chicken and because of her attitude I did not spend my money there. I drove there because someone recommended it to me but the attitude and irritability was more spicy than the curry chicken which my friend said was average. Please change your attitude and stay home if you don't like your job. I will not come back and at least warn people so they can be prepared should they experience the attitude

Worst curry goat I’ve ever eaten. Dry plate, dry cabbage. Lacks flavor. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone honestly. The staff was nice but the food wasn’t.

This is no doubt one of the most attractive place to eat in the area. Every time I visit this place I am highly happy. They manage their very high level service and the highest level of meals they offer. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Very recommended.

If you don't have high blood pressure you will surely get it eating this food. Order a meal and get cheated out of my plantains. Yes they open the box but you see So much rice and peas in which I ask for only a little. Take your money and go eat healthy. This is not the food for you. If you purchase don't forget to get a keg of water and high blood pressure pills to take. The food is horrible. Spend your money to buy your own food.

This place is awesome! I stopped by for a quick bite and it was exactly what I wanted. I had a savory chicken patty with steamed vegetables. The menu looked very enticing and I would be back for sure. The staff was wonderful too. Thank you!
